Terms of Service

Last updated November 5, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Chainless (“Chainless”, “we”, “us”) and cover your use of chainless.one, the dashboard and the API (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, topping up or sending a request, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you may bind it, and “you” means that company too. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.
  • You may not use the Service if you are located in, or ordinarily resident in, a country or region under comprehensive sanctions, or if you are on any sanctions or restricted-party list, or act for someone who is.
  • You are responsible for making sure that using the Service, and the outputs you request, is lawful where you are.

2. The Service

Chainless gives you access to third-party and open-weight language models through an OpenAI-compatible API, billed per token from a prepaid balance. The models are tuned to answer without automated refusals. That changes what the model will say; it does not change what the law allows you to do. Models, prices, limits and features may change at any time. The current ones are always shown on the site.

Examples on our website are illustrations of model behaviour. They are not instructions, encouragement or permission to do anything described in them.

3. Your account and API keys

  • Keep your sign-in details and API keys secret. You are responsible for all activity under your account and keys, including spend.
  • Spending limits and expiry dates on keys are tools for you; set them. We are not liable for usage made with a leaked key before you delete it.
  • Tell us at support@chainless.one if you believe your account has been compromised.
  • Don't create accounts to get around a suspension, limits or these terms.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service, or any output from it, to:

  • generate, request, store or share sexual content involving minors, in any form, real or fictional;
  • create sexual or intimate content of a real person without their consent, or deceptive impersonations of real people;
  • develop, acquire or use biological, chemical, nuclear or radiological weapons, or other weapons capable of mass casualties;
  • plan, promote or carry out terrorism, violent extremism, human trafficking or violence against real people;
  • access, scan, test or disrupt computers, networks or accounts you don't own or don't have explicit permission to test, or build and deploy malware against others;
  • commit fraud, phishing, scams, identity theft, money laundering or other financial crime;
  • harass, threaten, stalk or dox anyone, or illegally surveil or collect personal data;
  • violate anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
  • do anything else that is illegal where you or the people affected are, or help someone else do it.

You also may not:

  • attack, overload, probe or reverse-engineer the Service, or try to bypass its billing, limits or security;
  • try to find out which upstream providers serve a model, or extract model weights;
  • resell, sublicense or share access to the Service, or your API keys, without our written permission.

Security research, red-teaming, fiction and other legitimate work that touches sensitive topics are welcome, within the law and on systems you are authorised to work on.

5. Outputs

As between you and us, you own your inputs and the outputs you receive, to the extent the law allows. Outputs are generated automatically: they can be wrong, incomplete, offensive, unsafe or similar to outputs given to others. You are solely responsible for what you send, for the outputs you get and for how you use them. Check outputs before relying on them, and don't use them as the only basis for medical, legal, financial or other decisions that affect people's safety or rights. Some models are subject to their own licences; your use must also comply with them.

6. Balance and payments

  • The Service is prepaid. You top up by sending USDT or USDC on BNB Chain or Polygon to the deposit address shown in your dashboard. It is credited 1:1 in USD after the transfer confirms. The minimum is $10; smaller transfers add up and are credited once the total reaches it.
  • Usage is deducted from your balance per token at the prices shown on the site at the time of the request. A request may be stopped when your balance or key limit runs out.
  • Your balance is a prepaid credit for the Service only. It is not money, can't be withdrawn or transferred, and earns no interest.
  • Send only the stablecoins and networks shown on the deposit page. Other coins, other networks or a wrong address may be lost, and we may not be able to recover them. Network (gas) fees are paid by the sender.
  • Deposits are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise or at our discretion.
  • Unused balance doesn't expire while your account is open. If we close your account for breaking these terms, any remaining balance may be forfeited.
  • You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchases.

7. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may limit, suspend or close your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you broke these terms, created legal risk or harm for us or others, or if the law requires it. We may report content involving the sexual abuse of children, and credible threats to life, to the relevant authorities, and we comply with valid legal orders. Sections 5, 6 (as it applies to balances), and 8 to 12 survive termination.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Models and upstream capacity are supplied by third parties and may be unavailable at times.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

10. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Chainless against any claims, losses, fines and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your inputs, your use of outputs, or your breach of these terms or the law.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we will update the date above and show a notice on the site before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.

12. General

If a part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a reorganisation or sale. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the Service. Before bringing any dispute, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days.
